Happy New Year my friends! How cheesy was that title?? Ironically that title took more effort to think of than this entire post. Can we just pretend I came up with something a bit more clever than that?
Our kitchen used to anger me, I would always think to myself why in the world would someone put this kitchen in a home as “new” as ours? When builders start construction on a much-needed subdivision they clearly don’t put much effort into each individual house. That’s where I’m budding in to tell you not to pay any mind to the condition of drab cabinets anymore, after you read this post you’ll realize what an easy fix it can be.
When I think of a farmhouse unfinished is the first word that comes to mind. The ever so popular farmhouse style has completely taken over. It’s molding into so many different decor styles; modern farmhouse, mid-century farmhouse, vintage farmhouse, and even cottage chic farmhouse, to name a few. I’ve been exploring my favorite farmhouse twists over the past few months and it’s safe to say I’m a mix of all of the above.

Happy Friday my friends!! Today I’ve got a special product, just for the mamas, to share with you! Let me paint you a picture..
It’s the middle of the day and your little tot is past due for a snack. Que the hunger groans and one mean little kid. If you’re anything like me, and I sorta hope you are, your diaper bag is a bottomless pit of unorganized ammo used to keep your little one happy. And when you’re desperate for that binkie, or that little bag of gummies it’s nearly impossible to fetch out of that bag in an instant. I won’t lie, most of the time I have to unload my entire bag just to find what I’m looking for.
So Happy Thursday! I wanted to get this Friday Favorites out early to give y’all a whole 24 hours extra! For what you may ask? Keep reading and I’ll tell you! This week has flown by so quickly for us! Between both my boys I never seem to find an hour to sit down and just be. But here I am, I’ve made it here and I’m so glad you’re here too because I’ve got such a fun feature for you!
One whole year has come and gone, in an instant it seems. On September 22nd, 2015, I posted the very first chapter of Stringfellow + Co. To refer to my action as nerve-wracking is an understatement. As I was writing up that first post titled “The Start Of Something Great” I could hear the doubts spinning through my head. ‘Looking Back On Year One’ is a title I never saw coming. To be completely honest I figured I’d get bored with blogging and push it aside, as I do with most of my aspiring hobbies.
