It’s Okay Part 2

A couple months back I posted part 1 to this “It’s Okay” series. You can read that by clicking here. It wasn’t meant to be a series but as life went on I felt the need to reach out to specific people and let them know that it is in fact oh-KAY.

I’m just a simple person. A person who loves to write and a person who desperately wants to reach out to others in an inspirational way. What could my written words possibly do to help the word?

Well, nothing.

Im not here to change the world or to change the way people think. I feel my words will be seen by the person who needs to see them most.

If my words can bring an individuals mind to peace then I’ve done my part.

It’s okay to be stubborn.

But it’s also okay to admit when you’ve been hard headed.

It’s okay to say your peace regardless of the consequences. A clean conscious is worth more than you could ever imagine.

It’s okay to loose yourself in a daydream. This country was built on dreams.

It’s okay to feel low sometimes. As long as you pick yourself up and learn from it.

Its also okay to believe in yourself and trust that you can overcome literally anything.

It’s okay to feel accomplished by the little things, pour yourself a glass of wine while you’re at it.

It’s okay to feel uneasy about someone, as long as you give them the benefit of the doubt first.

It’s okay to not wash your hair every single day. Seriously, you shouldn’t.

It’s okay to try new things only to be let down. It simply wasn’t meant to be.

It’s okay to roll up into Starbucks just to get a hot chocolate.

It’s also okay to pretend that its coffee.

Its okay to reminisce about the “good times” but don’t let todays moments pass you by.

Its okay to be overwhelmed. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture.
